Life Lesson
This week I have learned that what I consume or go through before going to bed keeps on revolving in my head for long. That may be in the conscious or subconscious mind.
You ask What made me say this!
Well, this is what happened last Monday.
I had a minor argument with a friend about something. And then somehow I went to bed to get much-needed sleep. After much tossing and turning, I managed to sleep. But, when I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the loo, I became aware that the thoughts of quarreling with my friend have gradually started to pick up pace and torment me again.
I wondered maybe that’s how some creative artists, musicians, and scientists got their breakthrough lyrics, melodies, and equations. They must have been constantly thinking about their pursuit, ambition all the time. Even in their sleep, their brain is working towards their goals, their passions.
When Thom Yorke from Radiohead was asked in an interview about the strange lyrics in their songs, he replied that he gets them in his dreams.
So, the life lesson is to consume or think about something soulful and soul-nourishing before going to sleep.
Positive Feel-Good Story
Yogeshwar and Sushma Bhalla, often known as Yogi and Sushi, have been married for more than 40 years. Even now, a common thread that holds the pair together is their mutual love for travel.
Their trusty companion in all of their endeavours is their beloved bullet.
They went to Srinagar on their bullet for their honeymoon!
They were frequently questioned why they were travelling so much as a newlywed couple. "People never understood why Mrs. Bhalla had to join me on my excursions," Yogi explains. “My mum used to tease me about it. But we did everything we could for the family while also finding time to enjoy ourselves."
This pair is insatiable, doing everything from paragliding in their 60s to hiking in the Himalayas in their 70s.

Book/Podcast/Video Suggestion
Two of my favorite personalities, Shashi Tharoor and Sudha Murthy, talking in this video about books and writing.
They are both so charming, adorable, and admirable that I can not help watching their videos on repeat.
Quote/Poem
The quote by Rabindranath Tagore that made me go WoW and fall head over heels for his writings is the following one:
As human being is free, his or her freedom is expressed in his or her creative act where he or she becomes a partner of the supreme soul. His or her true nature is not revealed in his or her acts of necessities, but in the acts, which he or she does joyfully.
Human being is not contented with the world given to him or her therefore he or she creates his own world of creation.
